J. Grace Consulting
Freelance Writing for Your Needs
Portfolio Contact

J. Grace Consulting works with clients in both the nonprofit and commercial sectors. We write, research, and edit publications that meet clients' needs as well as the needs of their audiences. In addition to long, researched projects, we are also adept at working with content you provide to create newsletters or other documents for your organization or business. We can design simple publications or work with your graphic designer to achieve your communication goals. We also know several excellent designers who can work with us to create publications that are sophisticated in content and design.

We also have significant experience in taking dense, abstract research and "translating" it for an audience who wants to be able to read and understand the material quickly. We can draw out the implications of the material for an audience and provide tip boxes and other suggestions for applying the material.

If you visit the portfolio page, you will be able to download documents that illustrate the kind of work we do. Please let us know if you have questions about our services. We would be happy to discuss possible approaches with you.

We are also writing coaches for select clients working on creative or academic projects. Sometimes writers get stuck in the process, have a hard time getting started, or develop a case of writer's block. We can coach you through the hard parts. If you have a specific project that you want to work on or if you simply want to write regularly to see what can happen in your creative life, we can help you. We arrange regular meetings and opportunities for you to check in; we provide help with both your process and your writing; and, if you wish, we can even help you strengthen your style and approach. If you are serious about working on your writing, contact us to schedule a meeting to see if J. Grace Consulting can support you in the process.
